Actress Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul have entered into married life. On Monday, January 23, the marriage of these two took place in a grand manner at actor Sunil Shetty’s farm house in Khandala.
“Today, with our most loved ones, we are married at home, which has given us immense happiness and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness,” Athiya wrote in her Instagram post along with pictures of the newly wedded couple.
After the ceremony, Sunil Shetty and his son Ahan came out of the venue, welcomed the media and distributed sweets.
Expressing his happiness, Sunil Shetty told the media that he was very happy as the ceremony went really well. Shetty said that he is a father to Rahul just like he is a father to his daughter Athiya. He said that the issue of ‘son-in-law’ is a thing of the past.
