Suratkal: Mangaluru North traffic station police have taken the car driver into custody along with the car and got the information that he has obtained bail.
The accused has been identified as Arpit (35), a resident of Indiranagar, a YouTuber named “Mad in Kudla”.
The lorry going from Madhya Pradesh towards Kerala got a punctured tire and stopped on the highway side when Arpit’s speeding and careless car came to the extreme left side and ran away. Babulu (23) and Achal Singh (30) died on the spot and their body parts were scattered on the highway, eyewitnesses said.
Kerala resident Anish (42) was seriously injured in the incident.
