Journey from Pathwari to IPS
Prem Sukh Delu hails from Bikaner, Rajasthan state. He was born in a farmer family. At first he became Pathwari by his hard work. Pathwari means village accountant post. He is not content with that position. His dream was to clear the UPSC exam. And was going to be an IPS.

Prem Sukh’s father was driving the camel cart
Prem Sukh’s father is a farmer. The financial situation of his family was not so sound. So his father was running a camel cart along with farming. People were transported from one place to another on camels. Observing all this, Prem dreamed of raising his family from the financial situation and achieving success. So it is as if he dreamed of studying and achieving from childhood.

Government school student
Prem Sukh Delu studied till 10th standard in a government school in his own village. Later studied in Government Dungar College, Bikaner. Studied Master’s Degree (MA) in History and got gold medal. He qualified JRF with UGC NET pass in the same year after completing MA.

Who inspired to take Prem Sukh test?
Prem Sukh’s elder brother was a constable in Rajasthan. Inspired by him to take the competitive exam, Prem applied for the post of village accountant while completing his graduation in 2010. Even got that post. Later, realizing his potential, he passed his master’s degree and passed NET while performing the duties of village accountant.

One success after another
After becoming a Pathwari, Prem Sukh appeared in the Rajasthan Gram Sevak Exam and secured second rank. After passing the Assistant Jailer Exam. Even before being assigned to this post, Rajasthan Police Sub-Inspector post exam result was published, in which he was selected. Apart from these, he not only passed the NET, BED examination but also got selected for the post of lecturer. Later on he started studying for India Civil Services Examination.

IPS pass in second attempt
Prem, who was studying for UPSC while working as a lecturer in college, passed the Rajasthan Public Service Commission examination and was selected as Tahsildar. However, he did not stop studying for UPSC. Passed the UPSC exam in the second attempt and became an IPS officer with 170 Rank. Opting for the Gujarat cadre, Al Amreli took over as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).

Success is a journey
Prem Sukh success is not a standing water. Thinking that it was a journey, he was not satisfied with the VA post, which took him to the IPS post.
