Mysore, May 31, 2023 (www.justkannada.in): The ‘Mysore Cycling Jersey’ and logo launch event by Mysore Athletes Club was held at the Rio Meridian Hotel in the city.
The new cycling jersey and logo designed by the Mysore Athletes Club was unveiled by royal family member Yaduvir Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar.
Speaking later, Yaduveer said that he was very happy with this program, which is aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle. In Mysore, many activities have been undertaken by the royal family to promote good health. For example, the contribution of the palace to healthy activities like yoga, wrestling etc. is very much, he said.
Mysore has also contributed a lot to modern yoga. Admittedly, this is conducive to a healthy lifestyle among Mysoreans. In recent times, running and cycling hobby is increasing in Mysore which is a good development. He said that it is a good thing that Mysore Athletes Club is creating a good platform in this regard.
Ramesh Narasaiah, a member of Mysore Athletes who is also a retired Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Tax Department, spoke in the introductory speech.
