Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam veteran actor Poojappura Ravi (Raveendran Nair) passed away today. He was 86 years old. He died of age-related illness at his home in Marayur in Idukki district.
N.K. Brought up by Achari’s theater troupe ‘Kalanilayam’, Poojappura Ravi made his Mollywood debut in 1976 with the movie ‘Ammini Ammavan’. He has acted in more than 800 movies so far, mostly in comedy roles. The latest movie ‘Guppi’ was Ravi’s last movie.
