Secretary of BJP Karnataka State OBC Morcha and leader of Sakal Maratha Samaj Kiran Jadhav congratulated the new Commissioner of Belgaum Municipal Corporation Ashok Dudgunti and congratulated him with a bouquet of flowers. He also discussed various issues in the city suburbs with the commissioner and requested to solve the civil problems faced by the people.
On the occasion of the Municipal Commissioner’s visit, insecticides should be sprayed in the Belgaum city area to prevent the increasing infestation of mosquitoes. Closed primary health centers should be reopened and treatment facilities should be made available to patients.
Also, Belgaum Municipal Corporation does not have enough mortuary vehicles, so people are inconvenienced. Jadhav requested the Municipal Corporation to take serious note of this and purchase enough hearses.
Kiran Jadhav also advised the Commissioner that if it is financially difficult to buy a hearse, the Municipal Corporation should appeal to the charitable organizations and get the hearse from the charitable organizations as a donation.
The unsanitary and dirty environment of the city has increased the prevalence of mosquitoes. Due to this, diseases like malaria, dengue and chikungunya have spread. Taking note of this, the municipal health department should spray disinfectants in the city and suburbs by using the fog machines purchased properly. Apart from this, Kiran Jadhav requested the Municipal Commissioner to reopen the closed government primary health centers in and around Belgaum city and provide health services to the people.
Speaking on it, Municipal Commissioner Ashok Dudgunti assured that all the problems will be solved after inspecting the problems.
