Chennai: National Commission for Women member and actress Khushbu Sundar in an interview recounted her dark experience of being molested by her father when she was eight years old.
Khushbu explained that when a child is sexually assaulted, the scar remains for life and it does not matter whether the child is a boy or a girl.
His mother’s married life was very miserable. A father thought it was his birthright to abuse his wife, his only daughter. He said that even though he was continuously molested since the age of eight, if he disclosed the matter, other members of his family would also be molested, but I had never told him about this matter. He said in an interview that he started to resist his father’s abuse when he was 15 years old.
In an interview, she explained that her father left the family when she was just 16 years old.
