A delegation of MPs of Mahavikas Aghadi met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed various issues.
The delegation discussed with Amit Shah on the current situation regarding the border dispute between Belgaum, Karnataka and Maharashtra and demanded that proper coordination should be taken.
MP Amol Kolhe informed the media after the meeting of the Union Home Minister that Amit Shah will meet and discuss the issue of Belgaum on December 14 with the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
At this time, it was demanded that the Parliament should bring a concrete law for the repeated insulting statements about Shivaji Maharaj. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to speak on this issue in the Lok Sabha, I have raised this issue with the Speaker of the Lok Sabha.
Shivaji Maharaj should have a work of art but care should be taken while presenting the history to prevent the issue of controversy. Cinematic Liberty should be entertainment but not a discussion of history.
He also explained that if there is no knowledge and awareness of history, people will do it.
He mentioned that it was necessary for all the MPs to raise a united voice about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj but that did not happen.
