As per the tradition of Sri Shivaji Jayanti Chitrarath Procession of Belgaum, the Chitrarath Procession in Vadgaon area will start one day earlier i.e. today Friday evening and accordingly various Shree Shivaji Jayanti Utsav Mandals and Jayyats have prepared.
According to the Purvapar tradition, a Chitrarath procession is taken out in Vadgaon area one day before the Shree Shiv Jayanti Chitrarath procession in the city. According to this, Chitrarath procession of Belgaum city will be started tomorrow on Saturday 27th May. Therefore, Shree Shiv Jayanti Chitrarath Procession in Vadgaon area will be taken out today on Friday evening.
There will be a total of 9 Chitraraths in the said procession and the Chitrarath procession is going to start today at exactly 6 o’clock in the evening.
For the procession, the workers of Shri Shiv Jayanti Utsav Mandals have prepared various live performances and the procession will be held in traditional Marathmola atmosphere.
