Belgaum News: Two youths were attacked and killed with sharp weapons in Shindoli village near Belgaum on Sunday night.
On Sunday night around 11 pm, while the Marhal police were busy making arrangements for the arrival of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai at the airport, there was a stir due to the incident of double murder at Shindoli near Sambra. Marihal police rushed to the spot at around eleven in the night and started investigation.
Basavaraj Belgaonkar aged 24 and Girish Nagunavar aged 24 both living in Shindoli have been killed in an attack with sharp weapons in Shindoli. While the incident of double murder was also fresh in Sulebhavi near Sambra last month, a double murder has also taken place in Shindoli, so the crime rate has increased in the eastern part of Belgaum.
There is a possibility that car business and personal enmity are the reason for the murder and there is a cricket tournament going on in Shindoli village. It is said that the incident took place when people were returning home after the tournament on Sunday. Marihal police rushed to the spot and started investigation.
A large police force has been kept in the district hospital throughout the night on Sunday and police force has also been kept in Shindoli. Senior police officers rushed to the spot and started investigation.
