Panaji: The first edition of the ‘Goa Environmental Film Festival’ (GEFF) will kick off from June 3 with the Oscar-winning documentary ‘The Elephant Whispers’.
Addressing a press conference, state environment minister Nilesh Cabral said that more than 50 films will be screened in the three-day program at the capital’s McQueenages Palace.
Cabral informed that films from Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Finland, Ireland, Oman, Portugal, Russia, Spain and other countries will be screened at the film festival.
“The film festival will start with ‘The Elephant Whispers’ and end with the Spanish film ‘Alcaras,'” Cabral said.
