Income Tax Department has released a notification for filling up the posts of Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, Multi Tasking Staff. These posts are recruited in Tamil Nadu office and Puducherry office of the department. Applications are invited for these posts from sports quota candidates. Post wise qualification
Income Tax Inspector : Any Degree Pass from recognized Universities.
Tax Assistant : Any degree pass from recognized universities.
Multi Tasking Staff : SSLC / Equivalent Qualification Pass.

Minimum 18 years of age to apply for any post. The maximum age to apply for the post of Income Tax Inspector should not exceed 30 years. Maximum age should not exceed 27 years to apply for Tax Assistant post.

Sports qualification
