Mumbai: Film director and producer Vipul Amritlal Shah talks about his film ‘The Kerala Story’, in which actress Adah Sharma narrates the ordeal of a Hindu Malayali nurse convert to Fatima Baa. The film is based on real events and her character is one of the 32,000 women who have joined the Islamic militant group who have gone missing from Kerala.
The film is a combination of research and true stories. Earlier no one had the courage to bring out films based on such stories. But they are bringing out the film with the intention of telling the truth. It reveals many secret truths that have been hidden for a long time.
He said that the intention is to create awareness about this conspiracy being formed against India. The film is directed by Sudipto Sen. Apart from Adah, the film also stars Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani and Siddhi Idnani. The film will hit theaters on May 5.
