Kundapur: Former District Governor Lion Suresh Prabhu MJF said that helping the poor by pooling their maximum amount of money with service spirit even in rural areas is a real service.
He spoke while participating in the Yakshavaibhava program organized by Lions Club Hakladi Chennakesava at Nagusity Maidan in Mullikatte to help the disabled.
Financial assistance was distributed in Yaksharang for the education of student Tanvi and Satish Acharya Yaluru, who was injured in an accident and underwent surgery for both legs, and for the education of Satish Acharya Yaluru, who was suffering from anus problem. Financial assistance and 10 bags of cement were donated for the construction of Sasikala Acharya’s house.
Benkimani Santosh and Prashant Shetty, Manager of Saligrama Mela, who are doing service for social concerns, were felicitated, and the artists of the Mela were distributed funds.
