Belgaum News : There has been strong reaction of Bommai’s statement across Maharashtra and meanwhile the text of protest in black ink which was plastered on Nipani-Aurangabad running bus at Daund, MSRTC has temporarily stopped the buses coming to Karnataka as a precautionary measure. Maharashtra bus service has been temporarily suspended after the incident.
Activists of the All India Maratha Federation blacked out a Karnataka Transport bus to protest Bommai’s remarks. After this incident, the border issue is again erupting into internal disputes and Maharashtra-Karnataka buses are being blacked out.
Bus services running in various areas including Chikodi, Belgaum in the border area have been stopped after this incident. After the incident in Maharashtra, Marathi fanatics in Karnataka have also tried to do the same. Due to this, Maharashtra Transport has suspended bus services for some time.
