Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam social thriller ‘Live’ revolves around the prevalent issue of fake news and how it affects people’s lives, suggests the teaser released on Friday, March 24.
Director V.K. Prakash and S. Written by Suresh Babu, the film stars Mamata Mohandas, Soubin Shahir, Shine Tom Chacko, Priya Warrier, Krishna Prabha and Reshmi Soman.
Lain’s script underscores the haunting reality that “whatever controls the media, controls our minds and therefore our destiny”. “I have been waiting for such a script to come my way for a long time and I am proud to have got this opportunity through VKP and Suresh Babu,” said Mamata.
‘Live’ is presented by Films 24 and Darpan Bangeja and produced by Darpan Bangeja and Nitin Kumar. This is his first venture in Malayalam.
Photographer Nikhil S. Praveen, compiled by Sunil S. Pillai, music director Alphonse Joseph and art director Dundu Renjiv Radha are among the famous names in the industry.
‘Live’ will release in theaters on May 12.
