The Karnataka government has issued a Corona guide list for the safety of the people of the state who are celebrating the coming New Year in the wake of the possible fourth wave of Corona. According to this, face masks will be compulsory in all closed places including cinemas, schools and colleges. Apart from this, the New Year celebrations are to end before 1 am.
The government has also advised pregnant women, children, senior citizens and those who are sick or unwell to avoid public events.
Indoor entertainment programs or sports venues should not allow more people than the available seating capacity. Apart from this, sanitizers, face masks and complete immunization will be mandatory in schools. Due to the recent outbreak of Corona in some parts of the world including China, the Karnataka government has taken these precautionary measures.
Last week, the government has also decided to make corona testing mandatory in the state for those suffering from fever, cold, cough, like illness (ILI) and respiratory illness (Sari). Face masks are now mandatory in air-conditioned rooms and other confined spaces.
The Government of Karnataka, which is committed to the safety of the citizens during the upcoming New Year celebrations, has appealed to the citizens to stay safe and healthy and enjoy the New Year by strictly following the list of guidelines issued by the Government.
