Belgaum Live: Digital registration of all the properties within the Municipal Corporation limits is being done and citizens have been appealed by the Belgaum Municipal Corporation to register the same.
Digital registration of properties is being done on behalf of Belgaum Municipal Corporation as per orders of Karnataka Municipal Data Society (Reg) and Directorate of Municipal Administration, Bangalore.
For this, all the citizens within the municipal limits should submit documents such as photos of their property, photos of property owners, identity card of property owner, documents proving ownership of property, electricity bill, water bill, latest property tax paid receipt, construction permission letter.
For this, public awareness is being created in the city suburbs on behalf of the Municipal Corporation. Today (Monday) in City South Constituency, Revenue Officer Smt. Uma Betegiri along with Yellesh Bachalpuri, Parashuram Maitri, Amit Talwar, Shrikant Yerle, Sanjay Patil and other staff officers created awareness by distributing leaflets among the citizens.
Distribution of health insurance card to journalists by Municipal Corporation
The program of distribution of health insurance facility cards to the journalists by the Belgaum Municipal Corporation was conducted by Mayor Shobha Somanache on Monday morning.
A total of 88 journalists were distributed health insurance cards for the benefit of themselves and their families during the program organized in the Municipal Hall. Speaking on the occasion, Shrikant Gunari, representative of the health insurance company, said that this health insurance plan for journalists is one of the best insurance plans in the state. He also explained that a total of 358 people, including 88 journalists and their 270 family members, will get the benefit of the health insurance scheme at the Belgaum district center.
Under the health insurance scheme for journalists, an annual insurance facility of Rs 3 lakh will be available to the journalist along with his family members for medical treatment etc. Concerned journalists can avail this insurance plan along with the hospital bill receipt. Explaining that this insurance plan will be available in a total of 1020 hospitals in the state and 38 hospitals in Belgaum district, Shrikant Gunari, representative of the health insurance company, urged the journalists to take full advantage of this plan. On this occasion, Mayor Shobha Somanache, Deputy Mayor Reshma Patil, Municipal Commissioner Ashok Dudgunti, Deputy Director of Information and Publicity Department Gurunath Kadkol, Municipal Health Officer Dr. Sanjay Dumgol along with other officials of the municipality and beneficiary journalists were present.
