An area of 732.24 acres belonging to the state government in Tukmatti village of Belgaum district is under the possession of the defense department and no development work can be done there. He requested the Union Defense Minister to issue proper instructions to the defense officials to hand over this land to the Collector of Belgaum for the purpose of development. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Manjunath Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary of Water Resources and Urban Development Department Rakesh Singh were present on this occasion.
