The shooting for the movie Yan Super Star was held for 25 days at a single stage around Udupi.
Mainly Mumbai artists from CID serial who are popular here have acted in lead roles in this movie. Along with Dayanand Shetty, Harish Vasu Shetty, Sai Ballal, famous artistes of Tulu Nadu like Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraja Vamanjoor, Manasi Sudhir, An Shah, Ashok Pakkala, Master Atish Shetty, Master Arush U Pujari, Kumari Shreya Hegde etc. are in the star cast.
