Under this campaign, which aims to take necessary measures to solve the livelihood problems of hawkers in urban areas, smart identification card and vending with GPS survey and QR code for hawkers in Belgaum municipal limits.
Tenders have been floated for surveying street vendors with certification as well as geo-tagging. A survey will be conducted of the professionals on 10263 roads within the Belgaum City Municipal Corporation limits.
Data entry, scanning of photographs, information of each vendor, 8.5 x 5.5 cm water proof smart card with PVC ID card, government logo, vendor details, unique ID, hologram and ward code as well as individual cure code, geo tagging are the smart cards.
