For the past several days, this drain has been left open and coconut tree branches have been covered over it. Due to the heavy traffic of thousands of vehicles on this road every day, a cycle track has been made here.
However, as the cover of the sewer on this cycle track is not addressed, this sewer has become dangerous at present. As there is no light in this area, there is a possibility of accidentally falling into it at night. Despite the police quarters in the same area, it is strange that no one has noticed the open gutter till date.
Thieves have stolen the cover of this sewer and the concerned administration has not shown the courtesy of installing a cover on the open sewer for the past several days. So will it be attended to only after an accident? Such a question is being raised.
