Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam film director Joseph Manu James died of illness before the release of his debut film ‘Nancy Rani’.
The cremation took place on Sunday at Kuravilangad in Kerala’s Kottayam district. Joseph Manu James, who was undergoing treatment for hepatitis at a private hospital in Aluva, died on Friday. He had recently completed the shooting of his directorial debut ‘Nancy Rani’ and the post production works are still in progress. The film stars Ahana Krishna, Sunny Wayne, Aju Varghese and Arjun Ashokan.
Manu Joseph started his career as a child actor in 2004 film ‘I Am Curious’ and worked as an assistant director in Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. Joseph Manu James is survived by his wife Naina and siblings.
