Kannada Compulsory Exam Result -2023
KPSC has issued several Group A, B, C group notifications under the Karnataka Civil Services (Direct Recruitment) (General) Rules, 2022 for the year 2022 to avoid the resource constraints of conducting the mandatory Kannada language test separately for each notification and the effort of candidates to write the test each time and the evaluation. To avoid delays, the Kannada language test was conducted by consolidating the notifications issued after the 2021 rules came into effect. KPSC had said that they will issue certificates to those who pass the exam.
KPSC has said that if the candidates appear for this examination more than once, the marks obtained in the last examination will be considered.

Candidates applying for Karnataka Civil Service Posts / Government Posts must appear for First Language Test conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or Kannada Language Test conducted by Pre-Graduate Examination Board, failing which, such candidates must take the compulsory Kannada Language Test and pass.

Compulsory Kannada Language Examination conducted by KPSC is a qualifying examination and the marks obtained in this examination will not be considered for any examination. But passing the exam is mandatory. Otherwise, no matter how many marks you score in other competitive exams, it is in vain.
