All India Navy Entrance Test – CBT is first conducted for those who applied for these posts. Based on the marks obtained, the state-wise cutoff is fixed and shortlisted for the next stage.

CBT Exam Pattern
There will be CBT exam for total 50 marks. There are question papers in Hindi and English, with multiple choice answers. There will be two sections, Science and Mathematics, General Awareness.
This exam will have 10th class based syllabus. Visit www.joinindiannavy.gov.in / to check complete syllabus.
The exam will be for 30 minutes only. Candidates should score minimum passing marks in all sections.
Negative marks will be given for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Medical examination is conducted for those who qualify in physical fitness test. Those who qualify in this will be considered for the merit list. More details about this can also be checked by reading the notification.
Merit list
Step 2 – Merit list will be prepared only including those who qualify in written test, physical fitness test, medical test. It will be state wise merit list.
The state wise final merit list for October 23 can be checked on the website.
The final medical examination will be conducted at INS Chilka, where the qualification will be required. After getting the police verification report, an order is given to report for duty.
