A complementary message for social reform in Udayashankar’s literature

Chikmagalur: Film Literature Chintanahalli Udayashankar’s literature has a complementary message for social reform said T. Rajasekhar, president of Zilla Okkaligar Sangh.

He spoke after inaugurating Purvi Sugam Sangeet aka Demi Trust, Eureka aka Demi and Brahmin Maha Sabha in the memory of Film Sahiti Ch.Udayashankar at Brahmasamudra Sri Ranganna Navarakalyana Mantapa in the city.

Having composed more than three thousand melodious songs, his literature is full of vitality. Even after his death, we remember him even today, the literature given by him is the proof. His literary creations are immortal.

Brahmin Mahasabha director KU Vineethkumar, who participated as the chief guest, said that Chintanahalli Udaya Shankar is a versatile talent. Not only songwriters, but also those who wrote lyrics for paintings, yes even actors. He directed the film Mankudinne and acted in the biopic. He has written lyrics for a total of 93 movies, out of which 85 movies are movies starring Dr.Rajkumar. Deepak Dodaiah, founder of Eureka Academy, who presided, spoke. Rupa Naik presented the program, M. S. Sudhir welcomed and thanked.
