Total Number of Posts : 1,29,929 (1,25,262 Male Reservation Posts, 4667 Female Reservation Posts.)
Grade of Post : General Central Service, Group C (Non Gazetted, Non Ministerial) Post.
SSC Notification for 7,500 Group B, C Posts in Govt: Graduates Apply
Pay Scale for Constable Posts: Level 3 Pay Metrics, Rs.21,700-69,100.
qualification : Must have passed Matriculation (SSLC / 10th Class) for Constable (General Duty) Posts.
Selection Process: Selection will be conducted through physical fitness test, physical endurance test, written test. Ex Agniveer candidates are exempted from ET, PST exam.

Age Qualifications
– Must be at least 18 years to apply.
– General category candidates should not exceed 23 years maximum age.
– Candidates of Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes should not exceed 28 years maximum age.
– Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes should not exceed 26 years maximum age.
Probation period for constable posts: 2 years.
