Recruitment and Evaluation Center (RAC) has released a notification to fill up 181 Scientist B posts in Defense Research and Development Organization. Applications are invited for these posts from candidates who have passed Graduate Engineering and Post Graduate in Science or are going to appear in final year examination. These posts are paid as per Level-10 (7th CPC) Pay Metrics with a monthly remuneration of Rs.56,100 plus other allowances up to around 1,00,000.

Age Qualifications for Applying
Maximum age should not exceed 28 years for general and economically backward categories candidates.
Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes should not exceed 31 years.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories should not exceed 33 years of age.

How is the selection process?
The applied candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE marks in the ratio of 1:10. Then these candidates will be selected on the basis of direct interview / medical test.
