A 65-year-old woman named Shanta Devappa Bekinkere of Kalmeswar Galli, Kallehol (Dist. Belgaum) has gone missing from CPED Maidan Belgaum yesterday around 3 pm on Tuesday.
Lakshmi Hebbalkar, the official candidate of Congress for Belgaum Rural Constituency, filed his candidature through Shaktiperesha yesterday on Tuesday. Shanta Bekinkere along with other women from Kallehol had come to CPED ground Belgaum in a mini bus to participate in the said Shakti exhibition.
After the procession put on a show of strength, the women of Kallehol noticed that Shanta was lost somewhere in the crowd on the procession route. After that, even after searching everywhere, his whereabouts could not be found.
