Chennai, March 24: Tamil film actor Ajith Kumar’s father PS Mani (75) passed away on Friday morning. He was 85 years old.
According to a statement released by his sons, including Ajith Kumar, PS Mani died in his sleep after prolonged illness. Ajith Kumar’s manager shared the news on social media.
The deceased is survived by his wife Mohini, sons Anoop Kumar, Ajith Kumar and Anil Kumar.
Saying that the last rites will be a family affair, his sons requested their well-wishers to respect their wishes to ‘grieve privately and face their father’s death with as much sobriety and dignity as possible’.
Actor Sarath Kumar has expressed his condolences to Ajith’s family.
