Some married women candidates had moved the High Court against the provisional selection list published by the department. The High Court, which accepted the application of the candidates, said in the order to continue the recruitment process considering the caste and income certificate of the father submitted by the married women.
After holding a meeting with the Chief Secretary, Advocate General, Law Department and the higher officials of the Education Department, it was decided to revise the provisional selection list. The minister has informed that the services of new teachers will be acquired by the beginning of the next academic year.
