Indian Postal Department has invited applications for Gramin Dak Sevak – Special Cycle, May-2023 notification, for a total of 12,828 posts. Now there is a good news regarding applying for these posts. The date for submission of application has been extended and the interested have again been given an opportunity to apply early without waiting till the last moment.

The postal department, which had issued a notification on May 22 and released the online application link, had earlier allowed the application only till June 11. Now as per the revised dates again online application is allowed from 16th to 23rd June.

Qualifications for Gramin Dak Sevak Post

• Must have passed SSLC / 10th Class.
• Candidates should know how to read, write and speak the official language of the respective state.
• Karnataka candidates should be able to read, write and speak the official language Kannada.
• Along with the above qualifications should have basic computer knowledge and certificates.

Age Qualifications
The candidate should be at least 18 years of age as on the last date fixed for submission of application.
Maximum should not exceed 40 years.
5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates age relaxation rules will be applicable.
