Police Constable Training
Recruited candidates should undergo basic training in Police Training Schools specified by DG and IGP from time to time. Must pass the exams prescribed in the training. Unsuccessful candidates will be dismissed from service.
Pre-permanent period
Candidates selected through direct recruitment will be on pre-permanent tenure of 2 years 6 months.
Pension facility
The new contributory pension facility will be applicable vide Government Order No. FD(SPL) 04PET 2005, dated 31-03-2006.
Selection process
Physical fitness test, endurance test will be conducted for the qualified candidates in written test in 1:5 ratio. After verification of original documents, medical examination and selection is done.
