According to Fadnavis, no Maharashtra village will cede any land to Karnataka and in the Supreme Court they will be battling for the rights of Marathi-speaking villages like Belgaum, Karwar, and Nipani. In response to Fadnavis’ statement that his dream would never come true, Basavaraj Bommai clarified that Karnataka does not want or wish to cede any parts of their state but instead desires “solapur and Akkalakot”.
