There will be a competitive examination for this post for a total of 400 marks.
Paper-1 – Examination for 200 Marks.
There will be 100 marks on General Kannada, General English, General Knowledge, total 200 marks will be the exam. Exam duration 2 hours. There will be objective multiple choice questions.
Paper-2- There will be an exam for 200 marks.
100 questions related to Rural Development and Panchayat Raj topics will be conducted for 200 marks. The exam will be of two hours duration. This paper will be objective multiple choice paper.

Pay Scale of PDO post Rs.37000-70,850 (Group C Group).

Selection for the Panchayat Development Officer posts will be made first on the basis of the superiority of the marks obtained in the competitive examination and according to the prevailing reservation rules and considering the preference given by the candidates.
Examination Fee: Rs.500 for General and Backward Classes candidates, Rs.250 for SC / ST / Category-1 candidates.
