Karnataka State Government has implemented ‘Yuva Nidhi Yojana’ to provide unemployment allowance to unemployed graduates and diploma unemployed in 2022-23. Government has already given in-principle approval. So candidates should know who is eligible to avail this scheme before applying. Criteria for applying for Yuva Nidhi Yojana
- Only unemployed graduates (including vocational courses) who have passed in the year 2023 and are not employed after 180 days from the date of passing are eligible to apply for Yuva Nidhi Yojana.
- Candidates are allowed to avail Yuva Nidhi Allowance from the date of application only till they get employment or for a maximum period of two years.
- This scheme is applicable only for Kannadiga candidates of Karnataka.
- Yuva Nidhi Yojana allowance is intended to be provided through DBT, beneficiaries can apply through Seva Sindhu portal.
- There should be independent verification of unemployment status False declaration or failure to declare after employment will be penalized.
- Candidates are required to submit their official bank account transaction statement for 6 months from the date of passing.

Who is not eligible to apply for the scheme?
– Enrolled in higher education and continuing education.
– Those in receipt of Apprenticeship Salary. That means those who are in any apprentice post.
– Employed in Government and Private Sector.
