SSC MTS / Havaldar Recruitment Procedures
There will be Computer Based Test (Paper-1), Endurance Test (PET), Physical Fitness Test (PST) (for Havaldar Posts only), Descriptive Test (Paper-2) for SSC Entice Posts.
What is the SSC MTS Paper-1 Exam Pattern?
This paper will be conducted for 100 marks, 90 minutes. There will be objective type, multiple choice questions. Questions will be in Hindi and English. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

General English : 25 questions, 25 marks
General Intelligence and Reasoning : 25 questions, 25 marks
Numerical Aptitude : 25 questions, 25 marks
General Awareness : 25 Questions, 25 Marks
Minimum marks to be obtained for selection in Paper-1 (category wise)
General Qualification Candidate : 30% Marks
OBC / EWS Eligibility Candidate : 25% Marks

What is the SSC MTS Paper-2 Exam Pattern?
SSC MTS Paper-2 will be descriptive test. The exam will be 45 minutes for 50 marks. For blind candidates the test duration will be 60 minutes. This is a paper and pen model test.

Short Essay and Letter Writing in English : The test will carry 50 (25 + 25) marks.
Minimum marks to be obtained for selection in Paper-2 (category wise)
General Qualification Candidate : 40% Marks
OBC / EWS Eligibility Candidate : 35% Marks
All other category candidates: 35% marks
Only those candidates who have secured good marks in Paper-1 and secured the prescribed cut-off marks category-wise can appear for Paper-2 examination.
Following PST / PET Exam is conducted for Havaldar in CBIC and CBN posts.

Walking: 1600 meters walk in 15 minutes.
Cycling: Cycling 8 km in 30 minutes.
Endurance Test for Female Candidates
Walking: 1 km walk in 20 minutes.
