Mangalore: Rupesh Shetty’s much awaited Tulu movie “Circus” released its first song in a new way at Bharat Cinemas theaters on Saturday. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the guests. Film director and actor Rupesh Shetty said, “For the first time a song from a Tulu film is being released in theatres.
Although there is a small market for Tulu cinema, it is a matter of happiness that Tulu people are supporting it in such a big way. Just as you arrived at the song launch event today, watch the movie that will be released on June 23 and give encouragement.
Comedian Arvind Bolar said, “After Girigit, this is another complete comedy film. The audience will surely like it as it is seen in a different getup. If Tulu people like and watch Tulu films, they will have the courage and enthusiasm to make films,” he said.
Bhojraj Wamanjoor said, “Circus is a completely entertaining film. After Girigit, we all acted together again through the same team. Come and bless us in the same way when the movie is released,” he said.
Rupesh Shetty, Arvind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Saikrishna Kudla, Actress Rachana Rai, Music Director Loy Valentine Saldana, Sandeep Shetty, Jagannath Shetty Bala, Producer Manjunath Attavar, Naveen Shetty, Chandrahas Ullal and others were present on the stage. Saujanya Hegde narrated the program.
Giants in the circus!
This is the first time such a different attempt has been made in Tulu cinema. This song is sung by famous Kannada singer Chandan Shetty and has music by Loy Valentine Saldana. Choreographed by Naveen Shetty. Lyrics are written by Rupesh Shetty. Famous comedians of Tulunad have also acted in this song. Circus movie will be released on June 23. Circus is the next film of the Tulu language biggest hit film Girigit team and after Girigit is directed by Rupesh Shetty. Shulin Films, Mugrodi Films, Manjanath Attavar have bankrolled this film.
Arvind Bolar, Naveen D. The film features a cast of Tulu film giants including Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Saikrishna Kudla, Umesh Mizar, Prasanna Shetty, Bailur, Sandeep Shetty. Yash Shetty of Kannada film “Salaga” fame is acting in Tulu for the first time through this film. The film has music by Loy. Prasanna Shetty of Girigit fame has penned the dialogues in Bailur. Naveen Shetty is in charge of choreography, Niranjan Das is in charge of camera, Rahul Vasistha is in charge of editing.
