Giants Group of Belgaum (Main) has demanded the executive engineers of Hescom in the city that the sudden unjust increase in electricity tariff by their department is causing trouble to the common people and this tariff hike should be withdrawn immediately.
A delegation of the organization led by the president of Giants Group of Belgaum Main, Sunil Mutgekar, went to the Hescom office in Nehrunagar this morning and submitted a memorandum to the executive engineers demanding a reduction in the electricity tariff hike.
Our organization is a social work organization and has been working in the city for the past 37 years. There has been an unreasonable increase in the electricity tariff from your account last May. Due to this, the condition of common middle class citizens has become miserable. Everyone is already suffering due to rising inflation in the country and everyone is struggling to survive.
It is stated in the statement that this unfair increase in electricity price which has been done suddenly in such a situation is increasing the burden on the head of common people and it is requested that the said increase in electricity price should be withdrawn immediately.
Sunil Mutgekar along with Avinash Patil, Vijay Balsur, Mukund Mahagaonkar, Bharat Gawde, Anil Chaugule, Anand Kulkarni, Ajit Kokane, Pundlik Pavshe etc were present while presenting the statement.
