There is a rush of aspirants in the Congress for the assembly elections and applications for the candidature of 7 people for a single constituency have been submitted to KPCC till yesterday. While 3 aspirants have demanded candidature for South Constituency.
Former MLA Ramesh Kudchi has also landed in this arena and has demanded KPCC nomination for South constituency. On Thursday, former Zilla Panchayat members Ramesh Goral and Prabhavati Chaudia have also filed for candidature.
Since all the candidates who have applied for the candidature of the Congress are ‘better than one’, the challenge of announcing the candidature has been raised before the Congress party leaders. Every day surprisingly new applications of new candidates are being submitted to the Congress for tickets and everyone is paying attention to who will get the candidature in this season of aspirants.
Yesterday, three members of the Sait family,Former MLA Feroz Sait, his brother Raju Sait and his son-in-law Faizan Sait have also sought candidature for North constituency. Both corporator Azim Patvegar and senior Congress leader Hashim Bhavikatti have demanded it.
Along with him, Sudhir Gadde and District Congress President Vinay Navalgatti have also sought candidature for North constituency. Former Zilla Panchayat member Ramesh Goral and Prabhavati Chaudia along with former MLA Ramesh Kudchi have also filed their candidature for South Constituency.
