Karnataka-Maharashtra Border Issue is to be held on November 23

 

 

In the backdrop of the Supreme Court hearing on the Karnataka-Maharashtra border issue to be held on November 23, the Supreme Court will hold a meeting regarding the Belgaum border issue case on Monday, November 21. The meeting will be held at Sahyadri Guest House at 12 noon.

 

 

The border question will be heard in the Supreme Court on November 23 and this meeting before that will be important. Apart from this, the government has reconstituted the High Powers Committee under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. It includes fourteen people.

The High Power Committee has been reconstituted with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde as its chairman. Union Minister Narayan Rane, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, MP Sharad Pawar, Former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, Higher Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, Labor Minister Suresh Khade, Health Minister Tanaji Sawant, Public Works Minister Ravindra Chavan, Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, Excise Minister Shambhuraj Desai, former MLA Rajesh Kshirsagar, Leader of Opposition in Legislative Assembly Ajit Pawar, Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Ambadas Danve.

This committee will have the authority to decide on the appropriate course of action to resolve the boundary issue.
