The SSP post has a pay scale of Rs.78,800-2,09,200 as per pay level 12.
As per pay level 13 for the post of SSP the pay scale is Rs.1,23,100-2,15,900.

IPS officers who have completed 9 years of police service will have a pay level of 12. IPS officers with 13 years of service will have pay level 13.
At present, dearness allowance of 17 per cent is being given to these posts.
