Indian Navy has invited applications from the country’s unmarried male and female candidates for Short Service Commission various branch courses. Admissions for officer courses starting from January 2024 at Ezhimala, Kerala. It is mandatory to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Government of India to apply. The Navy has currently issued a short notification and will issue a detailed notification by April 29. And the online application will start from then.

qualification: Minimum BE / B.Tech pass with 60% marks in any subjects to apply for any branch / cadre posts. Or should have completed Graduation / Post Graduation in the subject related to the post.

Age Qualification :Date of birth must be between 02-01-1999 to 01-07-2004.

Probation period: 3 years for SSC Officers, 2 years for Branch Officers.

Starting Salary: Rs.56,100 inclusive of all allowances.

How is the selection process?
The candidates who have applied will be shortlisted and selected on the basis of the marks obtained in the prescribed qualifications for the post. Then they will be selected after medical test / verification of original documents.

In the SSB selection process, there is an exemption of 5% cutoff marks for NCC certificate holders.
