Belgaum: The application process for the ‘Grilahakshmi’ scheme, which is one of the five guarantee schemes of the Karnataka government, has started and complaints are coming forward that many online centers are charging money for the form of this scheme.
In this regard, Women and Child Welfare Development Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar, while talking to the media today, has warned that if anyone is charging money in this manner, a criminal case will be immediately registered against them, and if they are charging money for registration of Grilahakshmi Yojana in the online center, their log-in ID and password will be cancelled.
Women from all over the state are going in large numbers to fill the application form online centers to take advantage of this scheme.
But it has been pointed out that money is being charged for the form of this scheme at various places. This scheme is completely free and the holders of online centers registered by the government are being paid a fee of Rs 12 per form.
Therefore, Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar also warned that if anyone is found to have charged money for this scheme, they should immediately report it to the nearest police station or district collector, and criminal cases will be registered against those concerned.
