Karnataka Small Industries Development Corporation has decided to distribute plots in the industrial estates of Desur, Mangur, Borgaon and Athani in the district and these plots will be distributed to the citizens of various categories. Aspirants are requested to apply till April 13.
For the plots, the application has to be submitted to the Assistant General Manager of Small Industries Development Corporation. Most of the plots to be distributed are 42 plots in Mangur Industrial Estate in Nipani taluka and 10 plots are to be distributed in Dessur Industrial Estate near Belgaum.
Out of the said 10 plots at Desur in Belgaum taluka, 9 plots are for general category while one plot is reserved for scheduled caste. 2,600 per square meter for some plots here and Rs. 3,355 rate is fixed.
42 plots located in the industrial estate of Mangur village in Nipani taluka will be distributed simultaneously. These plots are reserved for general category, scheduled castes and tribes, women, minorities, other backward classes, ex-servicemen and disabled. But the rate of all these plots is going to be the same i.e. 2,600 rupees.
Out of 10 plots in Borgaon, 8 plots are reserved for general category and remaining 2 plots are reserved for scheduled castes and tribes. The prescribed deposit amount is also required to be paid while applying for the plots.
