Age Eligibility
National Cadet Corps candidates must be at least 19 years old, maximum age of 25 years candidates can apply.

Eligibility/ Other Criteria for Army NCC Entry
– National Cadet Corps candidates must have passed any degree or equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks to join Indian Army through NCC Special Entry Scheme Course.
– Candidates must have served at least 2 or 3 years in NCC Senior Division / wg.
– Must have obtained ‘B’ grade in NCC ‘C’ certification examination.
– Candidates who have not obtained C certificate are not allowed to apply.
The Army will induct 14 years of service into the Regular Army through NCC special entry. Primarily includes 10 years of service. After that there is a possibility of deferment of service for a period of 4 years.
For candidates joining Indian Army through NCC Special Entry Scheme, the pay scale ranges from Rs.56,100 to Rs.2,50,000 per month for various posts assigned by promotion. Among the promotion posts available through NCC, the salary for which post is given below.
