Mysore: The poster and song video of the movie ‘Dodda Hatti Boregowda’ produced under the banner of Shree Rajarajeshwari Combines together with the rural youth talents of the district was released at the Mysore District Journalists Association Bhawan.
Sahitya Bannur K. Raju, who released the poster and video of the songs, said that winning the first award as the best Kannada film at the International Film Festival is a matter of pride for Mysoreans.
He said that this is a film with a rural background, and it holds a mirror to the extent to which government benefits such as houses and plots of the shelter scheme are reaching the deserving and how much they are being misused. ‘Dodda Hatti Bore Gowda’ is a tasteful film of realism, where director KM Raghu, who is known for rural background movies like Tharlevillage and Parasanga, has given more emphasis on reality than imagination.
From the eye-catching rural environment to the talented artists and technicians, almost everyone is from the countryside, the special feature of this film. In today’s time when many bad films are coming which spoil the society, ‘Dodda Hatti Bore Gowda’ not only gives a good message to our society but also becomes a role model for other filmmakers. The fact that this film has already won an international award is a proof of its excellence.
Annapoorna Venkatesh, the distributor of the movie ‘Dodda Hatti Boregowda’, said that it is everyone’s dream to have their own house. Even if you stay in a luxurious hotel, you can’t get the comfort of eating and sleeping in your own home. So, because ‘Doddatti Bore Gowda’ is a good film, I am sharing its screening, he said. Film director K.M. Raghu and producer K.M. Lokesh said that we have made a good film so everyone should watch this film and encourage us.
