Srinivasa Gowda, who appeared in the bull driving scene in Baahubali 2, was an A grade carpet runner at that time. He is one of the 10 runners from the undivided Dakshina Kannada district to train for the bull driving scene. Gowda was selected for the scene as he tamed the bulls in a very systematic manner. Srinivasa Gowda is appearing as a carpet runner in the currently shooting Birdda Kambala and Veera Kambala movies. It is special that he appears as a runner in all these three movies.

Acting in a movie is much more difficult than shooting angles. It was easy to get the role due to the cooperation of Tulu cinema giants Naveen Deepeel and Bojaraja Vamanjuru. I am happy to have appeared in Telugu cinema as well. The main reason why I am involved in the field of cinema today is the influence that Kambala has had on me. – Srinivasa Gowda, record runner of the carpet
