Now there is a sad news for the candidates regarding the recruitment of 487 various posts notified by the Karnataka Milk Producers Cooperative Association last year. The High Court has stayed the appointment of these posts.

The Karnataka High Court, which has conducted an inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the recruitment process for these posts, has ordered not to publish the selection list till further inquiry.

A division bench headed by Justice B. Veerappa passed this interim order on Friday after hearing a public interest petition filed by a total of 5 associations, including Aitappanahalli Milk Producers’ Cooperative Society of Chikkaballapur district.

After hearing the arguments of DR Ravishankar (senior counsel) appearing for the petitioner, the bench adjourned the hearing by ordering the respondents – State Cooperation Department, KMF, Institute of Rural Management and CID to issue notices.

KMF had released a notification on 20th October 2022 to fill up the said 487 posts. Institute of Rural Management Agency, Anand District, Gujarat, was appointed to conduct the recruitment process for the applicants. After the examination, interviews were conducted from 2nd to 28th February 2023, and the final shortlist was also prepared.

Corruption has taken place in this recruitment process. The petitioner has alleged that bribes ranging from 30-50 lakhs per post were taken to fix the marks of the candidates.
