Most of the posts are vacant in school education department, health and medical education department, local administration department.
At present one-third of the posts in the state government are vacant. If these posts are filled, approximately 25 thousand crores will have to be set for salary in the financial year 2023-24. At present, the government has already earmarked 68 thousand crores for salaries for this financial year. It remains to be seen whether the government fills these vacancies and appeases the unemployed / acts as promised.
